About 150 miles in... Wed 18th Jun, 2008

Hello all,

I don't know how many people try to stay updated using markolver.com but I am apologising on behalf of Mark for the lack of updates on the news page! Mark set off last Monday on his massive trek to Edinburgh. Today he has reached Chester, and is grumbling, achey and tired. We're so proud of him though, it's not been easy and he's not cheated once!!

He's blogging for the Berghaus website, so if you want to hear more about the walk straight from the horse's mouth, then keep checking here.

I'll try and get a couple of pictures up here too, but what Mark really needs is as much love and support and encouragement, because he's really struggling at the moment! Please send any messages of support to rambleon2008@hotmail.co.uk, or just leave a message on the markolver.com guestbook.

And don't forget to donate!! You can do that quickly and easily by clicking here.

The walk is getting closer Thu 29th May, 2008

I know the news is updated very slowly on this site, along with everything else, but I wanted you to see what is happening in relation to the walk.

I am starting a week Monday, and today the site that will host my blog for the walk, i know, and yes, it will be updated more than this site, went live.

Every night on my walk i will be posting a little blog, and maybe pics and video if i can work it out.

Check it out at http://www.berghaus.com/ourworld/ourteam.aspx and feel free to spot which person on that page doesn't look like they belong.

He's in the news! Mon 31st Mar, 2008

The people of Hereford were less so.

Ordance Survey Map Mon 3rd Mar, 2008

Have just plotted the main route on the Ordance Survey Explore site. Will be doing individual maps for each day of the walk, but to have a look at the overview go to:

http://explore.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/os_routes/show/2148

I think it is easy to use, and if there is anything on the route that looks interesting or useful, then let me know.
